Getting Started

Wishes lets you capture, organise, and share the things you want most in life — from everyday items to big dreams. Sign in with Apple or email, add wishes with photos, and keep track of what matters to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

• How do I add a wish? Tap the + button on the main screen and fill in the details.
• Can I add photos to my wishes? Yes — tap the camera icon when creating or editing a wish.
• How do I share a wish with someone? Open the wish and tap the share icon to send a link.
• I forgot my password. On the sign-in screen tap Forgot Password and we'll email you a reset link.
• How do I delete my account? Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your data.

Information We Collect

• Account information – name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account.
• Content you create – wishes, descriptions, photos, and map locations you choose to add.
• Device information – device token for push notifications (only with your permission).

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Wishes app experience.
• To send push notifications about your wishes (only if you opt in).
• To authenticate your account securely via Sign in with Apple or email.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore & Firebase Authentication). Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest on Firebase infrastructure. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.

Photos & Media

Photos you attach to wishes are stored privately in your account. We do not scan or process your photos beyond displaying them in the app.

Location Data

If you attach a location to a wish, the coordinates are stored as part of that wish in your account. Location access is only requested when you choose to add a map pin — we never track your location in the background.

Push Notifications

We request permission before sending any notifications. Your device token is stored solely to deliver notifications and is never shared with third parties.

Your Rights

• You can view, edit, or delete any of your wishes at any time inside the app.
• You can delete your entire account (and all associated data) from Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
• For other data requests, email us at kieronapps2025@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

Wishes is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
